Meteor City is Finished, but is to be Released Later

Hi there everyone. It has been a very long time since I discussed anything. I had a small rough patch. I was about to lose my job, and found myself putting in 10 hour days every day for a couple weeks. Long story short, things somehow turned for the better. But just as I found myself having time dive back into my projects again, COVID 19 struck my state and I was sidetracked for a good while.

But to keep my sanity, I have returned to writing again. And I have really accomplished some things recently.

So I am almost finished with Meteor City. The cover art is done. And the story itself is pretty polished. It needs one last round of edits, but it is done for the most part. But I am hesitant about releasing it in the near future. The tale is about a city infected by a horrific illness that is quarantined from the rest of the world. And it seems like the perfect thing to not release because I just don't think people want to read anything like this right now. When I started editing in January, I had no idea we would be in a pandemic right now. So for the moment, I think I will put this project on pause to think about when I should release it.

In the meantime, I'm shifting my focus shift on other things. Another short, Once Upon A Time in Boston is now on the editing block. I was going to work on this after Meteor City, but I think I am going to jump ahead to this one at the time being. This is a dark fantasy horror tale that is fantastical and much more removed from occuring events. It will be the major focus for the time being.

Also after a bit of a hiatus, I have dived back into the read outloud revision process. Murder at Blue Bayou is being worked on now, and will be the next tale enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. I'm hoping by the end of the year, I will have another batch of shorts revised this way to be included in an anthology. As for the audio story releases go. They have stayed on schedule for the most part, being shared every monday on youtube at . Currently the tale is the Broken Princess. So check that out if your interested.

With that said, that is all I have to share, at least for the time being. I hope to have more to offer soon. I meant to be more productive and have a lot more done by this point in the year. But who could have seen a pandemic coming. Have a good wee everyone. Stay safe and stay well.
